What Well Bath is

A quieter kind of place to arrive

Some come for a slower class. Some come with something heavier they've been carrying. Both are welcome here. Help yourself to a tea or water in the foyer when you arrive, and take your time.

The place

The valley matters

Woolley Lane runs up a wooded valley just outside Bath. There is a spring. There is a garden. There is a foyer with a Welsh dresser of herbal teas, waiting. There are three treatment rooms, a studio, a sauna and ice bath, a gym at the back, and beyond the building, a field where retreats will one day sit.

The place is part of the medicine. It always has been.

Letters from Well Bath

We write when there is something worth saying. Not weekly. Not monthly on a treadmill. When something has arrived, when the seasons turn, when a practice has landed. A letter arrives. You read it, or you don't.
