The clinical part is done. The body has been through something. What remains is the slower work of coming back to yourself. There is no schedule to keep, and no medal for finishing quickly.
Post-surgical recovery is a specialised area. Some of the work at Well Bath will be right for you now, some will be right later, some may not be right at all. The starting move is a conversation.
Olivia is a chartered physiotherapist and also holds specialist lymphoedema care and reflexology. She is the right first point of contact for post-surgical rehabilitation. Paul offers Structural Integration and his Quantum Structural Integration Session, which for later-stage recovery can help the fascia settle back into itself. Joe holds Tui Na, an ancient healing art, once the tissue is ready.
For rest and restoration alongside the physical work, Reiki with Heidi and Yin on the studio side are supportive containers. Nothing is asked of you at either.
What to try
Chartered physiotherapy assessment and treatment with Olivia.
Olivia's specialist physiotherapy for the body that has been through cancer treatment.
Olivia's clinical lymphoedema treatment. Manual drainage, compression guidance, and long-term care.
Olivia's general-wellness lymphatic drainage, distinct from her specialist lymphoedema care.
One-to-one reflexology with Olivia in the therapy rooms. Held inside her chartered physiotherapy practice.
Deep-tissue fascial work with Paul. Follows the lines of tension rather than the site of pain.
Paul's own longer session. For deeper structural and nervous-system work.
An ancient healing art, over 2000 years old. Joe trained under Errol Lynch.
Sarjana's slow, sustained deep tissue work. Held rather than percussive.
Sports massage with Diane. Precise, pattern-focused work in the therapy rooms.
One-to-one strength, movement, and mind training with Dan Cossins.
One-to-one Reiki treatment with Heidi in the therapy rooms.
Ground-level, long-held postures. Restorative rather than active.
A one-to-one conversation with Joe. Where you are, what might meet you, what to try first.
