Care at Well Bath

For those in the after of too much

Written and reviewed by Joe Macnab, Well Bath. Last reviewed .

The first sign is that you cannot rest even when you rest. The body forgot how. The nervous system needs somewhere to land that isn't asking anything of it.

Well Bath's answer to burnout is quiet. The whole building is designed to lower the volume. Nobody expects anything of you when you arrive. You can be here without being watched.

Reiki with Heidi is a lie-down treatment where nothing is done to you in the ordinary sense. Sound baths with Kate on the crystal bowls settle the nervous system through frequency. Jan Erik offers Swedish massage and biosonics, tuning forks applied to the body. Mirella's Be Balance class is a gentle held practice that is closer to restoration than exercise.

Sue Judge is a naturopathic nutritionist and works with the body's ecology from the inside. For some people, the burnout picture needs that layer alongside the softer practices.
